Environmental Peacebuilding Working Group

The Environmental Peacebuilding Working Group is a Washington, DC-based forum for informal, face-to-face discussion of developments and initiatives in the field of environmental peacebuilding. The group meets on a quarterly basis in the Washington, DC metro area.

The content of the sessions is determined by the interests and activities of the participants. Past topics have included the Central African Republic, the Sustainable Development Goals, monitoring and evaluation strategies for environmental peacebuilding projects, defining the term, "environmental peacebuilding," and practical tools to showcase at a workshop on transboundary conservation.
