Some women farmers in western Ghor province have begun efforts to restore their flood- affected agricultural lands and gardens in spring.
Last year, hundreds of acres of agricultural land and flourishing gardens were destroyed by floods in the province.
The winter season has ended and spring has arrived and women farmers have risen from these challenges and are working to make their destroyed gardens green and lush once again.
Zainab, 36, a resident of Gul Dara village in Ferozkoh city, said her livelihood has been darkened by flood. She had a greenhouse that earned her 35,000 to 40,000afs annually.
